The cost of an outage can be immeasurable and each of these sectors expects more from its critical power suppliers than it did 10 years ago. The need now is a single group that can serve to a consistent standard at scale.
NHS and Healthcare
This includes hospitals, ambulance trusts, primary care networks and the supply chain that supports them. The work in this area covers backup power for theatres and critical care, electrical infrastructure for new hospital builds, and the maintenance contracts that keep both running without interruption.
The NHS New Hospital Programme is a £37 billion commitment to new and rebuilt facilities, each with critical power requirements that didn't exist a decade ago. Existing estates are simultaneously being asked to extend the life of equipment installed in the 1990s while meeting modern resilience standards and both create sustained demand.

Data Centres
This includes UK-based hyperscale, co-location and enterprise data centre operators. The work spans new-build power infrastructure, UPS and standby systems, ongoing maintenance and the temporary power that bridges planned outages and capacity expansions.
The UK data centre pipeline now stands at around £36 billion, driven by AI compute demand, sovereign data requirements, and the wholesale shift of enterprise workloads to colocation. Operators in this market do not tolerate outages - a single hour of downtime carries seven-figure cost implications and contractual consequences with their own customers.
Group activity today: Ingram supplies and maintains critical power systems for UK data centre clients, including some of the country's largest operators.
Ministry of Defence
This includes defence sites and the contractors who serve them, across operational bases, training establishments, supply depots and the wider defence estate. The work requires not just technical capability but the security clearance, compliance documentation and supplier accreditation that the defence supply chain demands.
The defence estate is undergoing the largest sustained capital programme in a generation, with sites being modernised, consolidated and brought up to modern resilience standards. Suppliers who can credibly serve the MoD at scale, with the right accreditations, are a small group.
Group activity today: a target market for the platform. The group's acquisition pipeline includes operators with established defence credentials.
Financial Services
This includes banks, trading floors, payments infrastructure and the data centres dedicated to financial workloads. The work focuses on the highest resilience standards in the commercial market, environments where a power event lasting seconds has measurable economic consequences.
Regulatory pressure on operational resilience has tightened materially since the FCA, PRA and Bank of England's joint policy on operational resilience came into force. Critical third-party supplier scrutiny is rising in parallel. Financial firms increasingly want suppliers who can demonstrate consistent standards across the full critical power stack, not assemble three vendors per site.
Group activity today: an active development market. Ingram serves financial sector clients today, and the group's acquisition focus includes specialists with deeper financial sector credentials.
Sports and Entertainment Venues
This includes Premier League and EFL stadiums, major arenas, racecourses, festival sites and the broadcast infrastructure that supports them. The work covers permanent critical power for venue infrastructure, plus temporary power for events, broadcast and matchday operations.
A live match or a sold-out arena cannot tolerate a power event. The customer base is small, the supplier list is shorter, and reputation in this market is built on a track record of named events that ran without incident.
